I was responsible for waking them up in the morning, making them breakfast, getting the 6-year-old dressed, making them lunch, and putting the 6-year-old down for a nap. If the children misbehaved, they would be put in time out. I used the same time -out techniques that parents instructed me to use. I also helped the daughter with her reading skills. I loved playing board games, baking cookies, watching movies, reading books, and playing on their swing set with them. I washed any dishes that we used. In addition, the children and I cleaned up any games, toys, or books we took out. I always made sure that the parents never came home to a mess.
