I have six years of experience babysitting children. I have two younger siblings (girl/boy) who are 8 and 10 years old. I have been babysitting my siblings since they were about 3 years old. I also babysit their friends and my Mom's friend's children as well. The most children I have babysat at one time was five (ages 5-8). The youngest child I have babysat was 8 months old.

I am a paraprofessional (teaching assistant) for elementary school children with special needs during a 5 week summer school program. This summer (2012) will be my second year working with special needs children. All the children in my classroom last summer (2011) were autistic.

Growing up with younger siblings and working with special needs children has taught me a lot of patience. I know how to stay calm, even when children are screaming at the top of their lungs. I am always friendly, happy, and positive towards children, regardless of their behavior.

I have no problem taking multiple children out in public for recreational activities, such as pool, park, skating, etc. and I can drive with nosy children in the background.

I also have no problem cleaning up after eating, homework, crafts, etc.
