I am a single mother of one child. My son is now 18 years old and he currently attends a Southern California university, thus leaving me an "Empty Nester." My son is an extremely well rounded individual excelling in academics and interpersonal relationships. I raised my son to be a perfect example of a responsible, high integrity individual. I mention this to give an indication of my ability to teach and foster positive behavior in children.

My interests include cooking, arts & crafts, health and fitness, traveling, education and meditation. I hold a Bachelor 's degree in Business/Accounting and an Associate 's degree in Health and Fitness. I previously worked in the accounting field for over 20 years and became burned out with the "rat race " four years ago. I then decided to go back to school to pursue my desire to help people live healthier lifestyles.

My experience includes more than six years of progressive babysitting responsibilities. Ages of children range from newborn to 18 years old. I thrive on being a help, in a positive capacity, in the lives of others. I have a positive outlook on life and love to laugh. I hope to find the right match in a position of being of service as a nanny/childcare provider to fulfill my desire of being a positive influence on our next generation.

I am a healthy, young at heart female and am smoke free, drug free and alcohol free. I have taken several CPR classes, but would be willing to take another, as my current certificate expires in June of 2012. I have open availability and I am willing to work with the right family to fit in with their schedule, whether it be full-time or part-time or an occasional over night stay (in the event of a family member being sick as I know it takes a toll on everyone's schedule). I have a clean background check with the most recent one being completed with the Department of Justice in October of 2011.
