I have raised four caring and respectful children of my own. My older three children are young adults, and my youngest is currently a freshman in high school. While my children were very young, I was a stay at home mom who provided daycare in my home. When our youngest was school age, I then went to work in the schools. I have always enjoyed working with children from an early age when I started babysitting as a teenager. I have over 25 years of experience including but not limited to just raising my own children. I taught Sunday school for 10 years and worked in the nursery at our church. During the time that I provided in-home daycare, I had the joy of watching triplets, they kept me very busy indeed! While I have experience with multiples, my experience also includes children with severe food allergies, handicapped, and Type II Diabetes.

I believe that children are a gift and we are responsible for teaching them love, empathy, values, and respect. My experience ranges from newborn to teenagers. I'm a hands-on type of person. I like to get right in on the action, on the floor playing, planning/making crafts, reading, singing, teaching, taking walks, going to the park, silliness and dancing; just good quality time with some fun included to make the child(ren) feel important, loved, and respected.
