Hi, I'm Julie. I moved to Los Angeles 1 1/2 years ago from Louisville, KY where I had been nannying through an agency since 1995. I've cared for children ranging from newborn to high school age. I will nanny in your home and have reliable transportation to take the kids on outings to zoos, science museums, etc. if you like. I am hands on and can help with homework, projects and also take care of meals, bath time and bedtime. I began nannying as a college student came naturally to me so I stuck with it and thoroughly enjoy it. I think the best feeling (next to hugs from the kids and that moment when you know that they've "taken" to you) is when parents have bumped into me years after I cared for their children and told me how much I impacted the kids, sometimes unknowingly, by setting an example for them. That's a hard feeling to describe but it is extremely fulfilling.
I am currently seeking part time, full time, or as needed employment. My schedule is flexible so I am available mornings/daytime or evening.
