My name is Julie and I have over 15 years experience working with children as a nanny and a preschool teacher. My experience is with birth to 12 years old. I also have a bachelor's degree in early childhood education from Pacific Oaks College. I love to be outdoors and go hiking and exploring or playing at a park or digging in the sand. I have a very respectful way of speaking with children and connect with them easily. I have amazing references. I love going on adventures to go and fly kites, make kites, go to the rec center, go and look for animal tracks and listening to animal sounds. I love being silly and funny. I have lots of experience with little ones from birth to five and above.

I love to bake with kids and to go on adventures around town. The library is one of my favorite places as I love to read. I am new to Boulder so am still learning all of the great places to go. In the past I have taken children to science center and children's museums and lakes and parks and on hikes. I love watching children explore the world.

You will see me interacting with your children and on the floor with them or playing games with them. I am always actively engaged with the child and challenging them to think for themselves as well. The children I nanny typically form long term bonds with me. I have had the opportunity of watching many kids grow up.

I will keep your child actively engaged and will not use the TV or computer at all. I have more of a Waldorf Philosophy.
