I was the oldest of five children in my family and the third oldest of 25 cousins. So from the very beginning, I was watching over and taking care of younger children. When I turned about 12, I had my first babysitting job for a family up the street with 4 children. From then on, I had a series of babysitting jobs within the community. Later I started working for a Christian organization childcare program. I feel that children need to have the best care to give them the opportunity to become the best that they can be and bring out potential in every child. If the parents can not be with the child, they need to feel confident that the person providing care will give their child the opportunity the learn, be active, have fun, and be safe.
