I have a broad arrangement of experience caring for children and young adults, both in regular education and special education. I simply adore children. I worked in a school system for 10 years. Last year I decided to return to college and earn a degree. Because of that decision, I turned to home health. In the 10 years with the district, I held positions ranging from clinic assistant, special needs assistant, kindergarten assistant, before landing in the role as a positive behavior support paraprofessional.

I also served as a Sunday school teacher and girl's club leader for over 5 years. 2 of the 5 years I was the assistant children's pastor.

Raising 2 children of my own qualifies me to care for children as well. I have several professional references from my district job. When I graduate with my bachelor's degree, I will continue to help, teach and encourage young people.
I have a strong desire to broaden my experience by working and caring for older people.
