I have raised a brood of 7 smart, confident, enthusiastic kids (all in college or graduate school except the youngest, and at 10, with straight A's he's on his way!) Because self confidence comes from being valued and respected throughout childhood it carries them through just about anything. I feel it is one the most important assets a young person can have. A positive attitude is of paramount importance as is having fun. I had fun cleaning, and doing homework with my children.
