My experience includes, being an Associate Teacher with Houston Independent School District, and 2008-Present for grades K-12; also an Hourly Lecturer, Houston Independent School District, 2010 - 2011 for 6-8th grade. Furthermore, I have served as a counselor for the YMCA and Youth Leader in my community.

In addition to the above, I have been a sitter since I was 15 years old from time to time and I see it as a gift and a pleasure I get to do not as a "I have to".

As part of what I get to do daily, I teach students who have intervention needs in reading writing, comprehension and math or special needs; encourage them to, be, reach, dream and do. I also help, with organizational skills, college prep and testing.

I currently am a Student in the College of Education at The University of Houston and will graduate with my Teacher degree in December or 2011. I have earned an Associates of Art of Music in 2009, from Houston Community College Central.

In my family, I have 7 nieces and nephews and have helped rear all of them as my own. I hope it is evident, that I am positive about our youth. I love children no matter the age and I enjoy helping them grow.

I enjoy volunteer work, reading, writing, visual & performing arts and cooking. I am an animal lover who owns a dog and two cats.

To conclude for now, I am a go getter who appreciates order, organization, professionalism and common sense as well as schedules and following them. I have a strong work ethic and for all intents and purposes, My Mission: "Your Need or Problem Solved."
