One of my biggest passions is working with young people.
Last year I taught at BVCOS and also worked with an 11-year-old boy and 1. 5-year-old as a part time nanny. The family is unfortunately having financial problems and needed to let me go so I'm looking for a new position.

Two years ago I worked with a family in North Boulder for seven months where I spoke only German to their 2-year-old son since they were raising him bilingually. We had a blast going on long walks, playing at parks, reading books at the library and going to Gymboree a couple times a week.

I returned from Mexico last September where I was taking my Spanish to the next level and would be happy to speak to your young people only in Spanish, German or English or a combination depending on your needs and wants.

Before that, I worked for almost three years as a nanny to a family in Denver who had two children. One child was 3 months old when I started working for them, and the other was 3 years old. I loved working with them and we had a great time together while they were learning about their world and testing their bodies and voices out. I still have a great relationship with the family.

I live in downtown Boulder with my girlfriend of five years. I don't smoke, drink or do any drugs including caffeine and I have many local references that have known me for years. I'm involved with several social change organizations that work to end inequalities in race, class and gender. I have a background in counseling young people, mostly through play, and a few summers ago I did an internship at a permaculture (sustainable building/gardening) institute in Basalt.

I'm an expert in all kinds of play(I've been doing it for over 30 years ), from rough and tumble to relaxed and introspective. I haven't yet met a young person that didn't enjoy hanging out with me.
