I want to be a nanny because I feel that it is my calling. I always find myself helping out my friends with their children and often think to myself that I can be a great nanny. I enjoy being around children and helping out. I have a nurturing, caring, goofy, energetic personality that allows me to get along with children great. I have always found myself around the kids at functions. My goals are to be a a teacher. Even though I teach at a daycare now, I am currently pursuing my degree in Early Childhood Education. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I love children and nothing is better than seeing a child face when they achieve something for the first time. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 3 years and can honestly say I love and enjoy what I do! I feel the children are funny, adorable, lovable and have the best imaginations ever!. My goal as a Nanny is to provide a caring, loving, healthy, and safe environment for the children. I am willing to do housekeeping at the children requests that includes bathing, getting dressed, feeding, preparing small meals, laundry, cleaning, reading books, teaching, and playing. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am fun, dedicated, loving, respectful, and caring. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include outdoor, art, reading, and play activities. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would be respectful, loving, fun, and friendly.
