I have been a substitute teacher for the past 10 years for both regular education as well as children with special needs. I have also been a caregiver for a child with special needs for two summers. I have raised three children of my own and they are now on their own. Being with children is very fulfilling for me and gives me great satisfaction. In the past I have also organized and implemented various youth activities for a youth organization. I feel I have a lot of experience with kids and enjoy being with children. My sense of responsibility, patience, and fun loving attitude are my strengths. The feedback I have received from the school administration and parents have been very positive. Within the school setting I have worked with children from ages two through high school. Outside of the school setting I have taken care of infants through age 10. My background experience with children and confidence in myself makes me an ideal candidate to be a caregiver. If given the opportunity to provide care I am confident it will have a very positive outcome.
