I am a teacher who has been recently laid off. I have been taking care of children since I was 13 starting with my siblings and younger cousins then branching out to local children in the neighborhood. In high school, I was a tutor and I looked after children in the ages of 8 months-10 years old. In college, I worked for the YMCA after school childcare and summer day camps for three years. I was also a nanny for two children for two years, they were 8 and 10 when I started. As a teacher, my first year teaching I taught fourth grade. This past school year I taught a first and second grade combo class. I love children, this is my passion and I can't wait to start working with them again.
