My experience includes the following: In the summer of 2009 I had a part-time position at a local daycare center where I assisted the owner in caring for up to 15 children between the ages of 4 months to 5 years old. My duties included preparing meals and snacks, set-up for activities, monitoring and interacting with children, maintaining a safe, secure, and happy environment.

Camp Counselor: This was a full-time, temporary position at a youth camp in the summer of 2007. I provided leadership to maintain a successful, safe, and fun environment during summer programs for the youth. My job relied on a responsible, trustworthy, and fun counselor for the children during their time at camp. I was responsible for the well-being of a group of children from the ages of 6 to 10 years old. Along with co-workers, I would plan activities and field trips and I supervised and participated in all activities. I helped children with projects, games, group discussions and provided individual attention when needed.

During my junior and senior year at Stevenson High School, I volunteered with Community Youth group and my involvement in this program included helping children from ages 7 to 11 years old with homework, spending time on outdoor activities while establishing a fun and caring relationship.
