Hello my name is Jodi F. I'm 32 years old and a mother of a 10 year old girl and a 7 year old boy. I'm a non smoker. Smoking by other people is done outside my home. I've been in the child care field for 10+ years. I ran a daycare out of my home for 5 years and work at a daycare for a little over a year. Currently I hold a Substitute position at the local Madison county head start. In my spare time looking to pick up some extra money watching kids in my home. On days they I get called in I have my sister who has 4 boys ages 4 -16 and a girl that's a year that will help me take care of any children that I take in. She is a non smoker as well and we both have never been in trouble with the law or CPS. I have reasonable rates and can give many references. Here is a schedule for my daily activities:
6:00-8:00 a.m. Children start arriving. Provide breakfast. Clean up from breakfast and provide quiet activities until it's time for planned activities.
8:00 - 9:30 a.m. Centers activities; kid's choice, or planned group activity.
9:30 - 10:00 a.m. Morning snack.
10:00 - 10:45 a.m. Outside play.
10:45 - 11:30 a.m. Centers activities and/or free play or circle time.
11:30 - 12:30 p.m. Wash hands. Lunch time. Clean up from lunch. Bathroom before nap.
12:30 - 2:30 p.m. Nap time.
2:30 - 3:00 p.m. Afternoon snack
3:00 - 3:45 p.m. Large motor/active play either indoors or outside.
3:45 - 5:00 p.m. Free, quiet play.
5:00 - 6:00 p.m. Parents arrive; children go home. Clean up for the day. Willing to work around your schedule.
