I have been caring for children since I was very young. As soon as I was old enough, I began volunteering in a church nursery, and was an assistant supervisor of that nursery by the time I was 13. At the age of 14, I began to work at a summer day camp, excelling into a lead counselor position a few years later. I have worked with children from infancy to adolescence in a variety of environments. I have nannied, been an on-call sitter, and supervised over 60 children at once. I have worked with children with Asperger's, behavioral issues, children in same-sex parent households, children of single and divorced parents (I have assisted a family through a divorce), children of religious households, and transitionally adopted children. I am a good cook, pet-sitter, and housekeeper as well, and will be happy to work those services into an agreement with any family.
