I am a mature childcare provider with 18 years of experience. I have worked with children from 6 weeks old to 16 years old. My first experience working with children was with children with behavioral problems, I guess my employer was really trying to see if I really wanted to work with kids. All of the children the other staff members were having problems with, I didn't have any problems with. Children just seem to take to me. My family says that it is my gift. I love to work with toddlers. They love to explore and ask why. I love seeing children's faces when they do something they thought they couldn't do. I have certification in CPR, First Aid, child abuse, communicable disease, health and safety, and child development. I have also work with children with special needs. I use to teach self-esteem class for middle-school-aged girls and hurting women of all ages. I am a Type-B certified home care provider by the state of Ohio. I accept title 20 also. I am a part of the Child Care Choices Food Program. Your child will have healthy lunches and snacks. I do not provide transportation. We do a lot of activities during the day, including: reading, dramatic play, circle time free play, outside play and art. I invite guest speakers to come talk to the children. The story lady will pay us a visit seasonally. I have a daily schedule, but I am very flexible.
