I started babysitting at 13 for families with multiple children. In high school, I was a nanny for 4 years. I also taught Sunday School and taught vacation bible school for my church. When I went to UW River Falls, I worked at the campus daycare for 5 years in all rooms but especially with the older and younger infant rooms. I had lots of field experience in college in kindergarten and 1st grade classes. I was a PCA during student teaching for a 9-year-old boy with Asperger's and I watched his two younger siblings, as well. After college, I taught at a daycare in St. Paul. I nannied for 2 years for two school age children. This year, I taught 3rd grade at a Charter School. Next year, I will teach 1st grade. I also babysit for many families with kids ages Birth-9. My Minor is in early childhood education and my major is elementary education.
