I'm a senior nursing major at UVM and I'm specializing in pediatrics. I've successfully completed my pediatric clinical in the hospital as well as the classroom lectures. I worked at a child care facility (and currently substitute teach) in 2009 as the infant teacher (average of 4 children/day, ages ranging from 6 weeks to 15 months) and in 2010 as a "floater" between classrooms working with children ranging in ages 6 weeks-4 years. I've held multiple babysitting jobs over the past 6 years. I've volunteered in a wide range of pediatric settings, such as the hospital (Fletcher Allen) and Ronald McDonald house. I've also had experience and training working with children with disabilities and learning disorders.
