Hello my name is JoAnna. I am 18- years- old. in 2008 I volunteered all summer for Lincoln, Ca Recreational Dept. at Kids Kamp. tasks included: planning activities for children ages 5-12. i, as a leader, along with other leaders, took the kids on field trips. I also had to make sure the children were using manners and getting along with each other. I also had part in planning games, arts and crafts, and prizes for the kids.
I also had the pleasure of babysitting a family friends 6-year-old daughter. I was always the first one they called. I would make sure she got food to eat, not too many sweets, and we would keep TV to a minimum by playing board games, dress up, barbies, coloring, etc. if I had to stay late nights, I would put her to bed, then clean up the house.
I also have a 7-year-old little brother and a 3-year-old nephew, I have had plenty of experience changing diapers, and putting kids to sleep, entertaining them and keeping them happy.
most people say I should go to school for teaching because " I'm so good with kids"
