I could be of great help to you. Having come from a large family, I have been caring for babies to teenagers for most of my life. I proudly chose to be a stay at home mom/homemaker until my daughter started elementary school. I have raised a daughter as a single parent for the last 18 years. Since my daughter graduated from high school and is now on to college, I am sadly an "empty nester". I love kids, animals, the elderly, socializing, housekeeping, and being part of a family. I came to Austin in 2003. I became a full time live in Housekeeper/Pet Sitter/Personal Assistant for 8 years. I also worked part time In 2007 as a Personal Assistant/Assistant Manager to a wonderful woman and family. My role in these families' lives was forever changing as their needs changed. My jobs ranged from Nanny, Housekeeper, to House Sitter, Pet Sitter, pool maintenance, clerical duties, running a non-profit business while they were away, running errands, and being a Personal Stylist. Multitasking is my specialty. One family moved away to Colorado and wanted me to join them but I did not want to make my daughter change schools with a year or two of high school to go. I absolutely loved this position and have references of how valuable I was to these two clients. I am currently a live in Housekeeper/House Sitter/Pet Sitter.
