Hello, I have always enjoyed my nanny jobs and feel that it's a great time in my life to work with a fun, new family while still continuing my artwork. I have a lot of experience with children of all ages except for infants. My most recent positions were with two adorable toddlers, where I worked with two separate families (I can give references upon request). In college I was a nanny for three different families during the school year and the summer. I am also extremely close with my three nieces and nephews who are now 9, 14, and 16. I have done everything from teaching them the alphabet, dressing and taking them to dance, soccer, cheering, and karate classes, assisting with school projects, organizing birthday parties, driving them around everywhere, giving them art lessons, cooking with them, listening to their problems with school and friends, rocking them to sleep when they are sick, disciplining, motivating and guiding them in responsible decision making. The list will go on and on!
I am a very energetic, healthy, and creative individual. I love life and work hard to always carry a positive outlook. I am blessed with many great friends and family who have described me as being fun, trustworthy, creative, carefree, goofy and loving.
I love the outdoors, mostly the beach. I have some experience in kayaking and boating. Most of all my art work is very important to me and I enjoy teaching others as well. I like to paint, sculpt, make jewelry, and other crafts. I'm a partial vegetarian (no red meat) and can cook healthy meals. I have been a member and organizer in a few professional groups, on the cabinet for the United Way, and a fundraiser for the YMCA summer camp programs. Most recently I launched a new art program business aiding in the mental healing of women fighting breast cancer. I adore all animals except for snakes! Yikes! I have also been around dogs and cats all my life. I've owned rabbits, fish and frogs as well.
I have a great driving record and am completely fine with a background check. I am happy to offer more information upon request. I also have a professional resume, which I would be happy to provide. My nanny experience is not on it, yet I can provide many references for families who I have worked with.
