I have worked with children of all ages, including newborns and infants, for over seven years. I treat all children as if they're my own by giving my undivided attention and lots of affection. Activities with older children include, but are not limited to: arts & crafts, board games/puzzles, trips to amusement parks and/or community parks, museums, libraries, any place where children can interact with one another (socializing is always encouraged when children are in my care!). Activities with infants/toddlers include, but are not limited to: long strolls around the neighborhood, park, aquarium or any other place where babies who are not yet able to walk can observe from the stroller, baby sign language, singing, reading, learning.
I am also skilled in providing basic needs for children of any age, which includes, but is not limited to: dressing and bathing children and/or assisting children with dressing and bathing themselves, changing soiled diapers and/or clothes immediately and as needed, preparing and serving meals according to preset schedule provided by parent(s), enforcing napping and sleeping at times previously determined by parent(s), light housework, keeping children safe at all times by using safety devices provided (baby gate, car seat, home alarm system/locks, etc.).
Some of my own interests include: riding my beach cruiser, reading a good book under a shady tree in a quiet park, listening to my iPod next to the pool, exploring farmers markets, spending time with my husband, road trips, bingo and people watching.
I rarely use the television as a form of entertainment. Your child(ren) will always be stimulated and well taken care of.
