I have been caring for children for as long as I can remember. My mother has owned and operated her own licensed daycare since I was 7 years old and my siblings and I were always available to help with care. It was through this that I began receiving babysitting offers from my mother's clients at the age of 12. When I came to Lynchburg to attend Liberty University, I began working in the daycare at Gold's Gym, and again received babysitting offers from this experience. I have also worked avidly with the Upward Bound program which specializes in low-income, first-generation college student children with varying disabilities, intellectual impairments, and psychological barriers. Throughout my time at Upward Bound I taught several classes including: Algebra, Humanities, and English as well as tutored in others. I have a Bachelor's of Science degree from Liberty University in Psychology as well as have completed three years of the nursing program (and hope to finish at some point in the next two years). Currently I am in the graduate program at Liberty for Professional Counseling.

Outside of my "credentials", I am a really easy-going person who finds true joy in working with children. I love to bake, do arts and crafts, play sports, and spend time outdoors.
