I am 22 years old and am a recent graduate from UC Davis with my B.A. in both International Relations and Art History. For the past three of the four years it took to gain my degree, I was a part-time nanny. I cared for two different families with children that ranged in ages 3-10; however, I love all ages, am flexible and easygoing. I have interned at an Art Museum in the education department for the past year where I loved being able to work with children, while pursuing my passion of art history. Eventually, I would like to go back to school to gain a Masters in Museum Education; however, as of now I want to continue being a nanny, as the past three years with the two families I cared for was such a fulfilling, happy, positive experience. I grew to feel as though I were a part of the families-celebrating birthdays, holidays, dance performances, and feeling immensely grateful for being a part of their lives as the children grew. I am a very energetic individual and would treat your children as my own. As I speak both Spanish and English I helped children out with their homework in both languages, as one of the girls went to a Spanish immersion School. I also helped prepare meals and snacks when needed and am willing to do light housework as I am a very organized individual. As a person interested in art, I love doing creative and stimulating activities; seeing the end result of what a child creates is always fun. I like making forts (to be cleaned up before the parent is home), reading books to the children, and going to the library. I also love being outdoors and going to parks and participating in other outdoor activities. Being active is very important, if I care for your children we would participate in stimulating activities rather than sitting in front of the television the whole day.
