Hi Families!

My name is Jess and I just finished my sophomore year at Loyola University. I have been a nanny and babysitting for the past 8 years and I absolutely love it! I have done full-time summer and after-school nanny positions, as well as occasional babysitting. I have worked with multiple children at once; families that have had 5 children or in large groups for play dates and birthday parties. I've worked with newborn infants to school-aged teens. I have worked with families with multiple sets of twins, 4 boys under the age of 5-years-old, all girls, varying age ranges in children; you name it and I've probably worked in that similar situation before.

I do not believe in TV for entertainment while babysitting. I love taking children to the pool, museums, etc. Anywhere or anything the children want to do I am up for. I often plan arts and craft projects and love coming up with fun games to play. Anything that gets us outside or using our imaginations is what I'll do. With children of any age, I make sure they stay stimulated and partake in activities that will help promote development at whichever stage they are in life. For infant care, I make a log of everything we did that day so you will always know when the last time your child napped and for how long or how much he or she had at feedings. I make sure baby does things such as tummy time and is properly stimulated throughout the day. I am proficient in preparing bottles, giving baths, changing diapers, etc.

I can handle long days and am very flexible with time. I have my license, a car, and a clean driving record. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I am reliable, punctual, and trustworthy. I can ensure you peace of mind; safety is my number one priority. I can also promise your children will have fun. I can give you multiple references upon request.

I can also offer doing housework such as dishes, laundry, taking out garbage, etc. If you need me to do it, I will.

Outside of working I love to read, bake, cook, and listen to music. I have also been a Big Brother Big Sister mentor for the past year and it has been an absolutely amazing experience. I have also participated in several Habitat for Humanity builds in several states.
