Hi, my name is Jessica and I am a full-time Master's student at UNF for a degree in Public Health. I have school for another two year so I am not going anywhere anytime soon. My undergraduate is from UF in Education, which I earned in 2009. I have more than two years of experience caring for newborns/infants/toddlers/young children at a church nursery as well as an internship in a kindergarten class. I love being around kids and watching them learn and grow. I enjoy being active, reading, learning and being around people. I grew up with three siblings and all sorts of pets so I am very comfortable being around people and animals. I stay active, make an effort to eat healthy, and like to read and learn.
My philosophy is that children are eager to learn and most moments can be turned into learning experiences for them. I am creative and don't believe in sitting kids in front of a TV. I incorporate learning into everyday routines and feel that I would be a great addition to a family unit. I am new to the area and would love to get to know a family as I am four hours away from my own family and friends.
