I have been watching kids all throughout my childhood and into my adult years. I started watching the neighbor kids when I was 11 and got my first Nanny job when I was a freshman in high school. When I turned 15 I was hired by an in-home child care center call Melinda's Childcare. I was responsible for anything from watching the kids, taking them on walks, art projects etc. to making meals, clean-up and tutoring the eldest with their math and science homework. I also worked one on one with my boss's 4-year-old son with autism (who I adore and miss deeply). Around this same time I got another job at an indoor playground in New Richmond. There I was responsible to open and close the building, check families in, make food and even set up for birthday parties! Now I am a freshman in college, attending the University of Eau Claire for Psychology. Eventually I hope to become a Child Life Specialist working at Children's Hospital in St. Paul, fingers crossed! I love working with children, they just have a pure joy to them that I adore and have always connected with. I am a fun-loving, outgoing 19-year-old with my own vehicle, non-smoker and available to work in the afternoon-evening.
