My first job was at Building Blocks and I worked with 3-5 year-olds for a year, then moved to school age children for a few months as I started my ECE courses. I left there to become a nanny full time for this nice family who had 2 little boys. I would get there at 7 a.m., help get one child ready for school. Then the toddler and I would hang out at home. We would have fun with crafts/activities, would go to parks, play dates, and do some simple housekeeping chores. I was with them for a little over 2 years and they had to let me go due to personal family issues. I started working at Little People's Landing for a year working with 3 year-olds, left there to become a nanny again for a family I was babysitting for. I was with them for 3 years, taking care and growing a strong relationship with their 3 children; 2 boys and and baby girl. I cooked, cleaned, bathed, and helped with homework. I had lots of fun with them making crafts and going to movies, bowling, parks, etc. The children was getting older and going to school so it was time to find another job. It was hard because I saw all of the "first's" with the baby (example: crawling, walking, tooth, etc). I was attached to them all. I then went back to Little People's Landing and got my old classroom working with the 3-year-olds. I consider myself a strong and creative teacher. I love making crafts and finding new fun ideas for the children to do and learn. I have been there over 5 years now, and I think it's time to move on and hopefully find a nanny job. I have worked with newborns all the way up to teenagers.
