I am a high school senior, going into college next fall. I have been babysitting and nanny for over two years now for other families and have been babysitting my brother for over five years since we have a large age difference. I have a part-time job as a lifeguard and swim instructor at my local park district and am CPR/first aid certified. I have worked with kids of all ages, the youngest being eight weeks. I am comfortable around pets.

I always try to keep the children active and make sure they are eating healthy. I also encourage the children I am babysitting to read if they are old enough, or do simple math tasks such as counting items (in order to keep their knowledge growing). I have helped clean the house, prepare meals, drive from activities and to play dates.
