I have always babysat young children since I was 12. I have babysat children from 6 months all the way to 9 years old. I currently babysit 2 children in my neighborhood on a regular basis. The childrens' ages are 1 and 3. When I babysit them I prepare dinner and feed them. I play different games with the children such as Memory with cards, we play with building blocks, their dolls, and the children and I even make up different games. I am always responsible for getting the girls ready for bed which includes their baths and doing one last diaper change. Before I do put the kids to bed, we play one final game of "Clean-Up." Since I have been watching these particular girls for about 7 months now, they are usually the ones who bring it up. We sing and often dance as the girls' have learned to pick up their toys without it really being a chore. After the girls are in bed, I make sure the dishes are done, and the house is cleaner than when I first arrived. I do one last check to make sure all their toys are in the proper place and that the girls are finally asleep.
I truly love being around children and caring for them, they really bring so much joy into my life.
