I have been babysitting ever since I was 12 years old! I love working with children, it is both fun and rewarding. I am a student at University of Northern Colorado with a major in Elementary Education and a minor in Reading. For a little over a year I babysat for two boys, ages 2 and 4, about three days a week before I moved from Pennsylvania to here in June of 2010. Some of my responsibilities included getting them settled in after day care, preparing and feeding them dinner, doing dishes, cleaning up toys, giving them baths and getting them ready for bed. We also spent much time outside when the weather was nice and I tried to have little activities for them to do such as making instruments out of toilet paper rolls, decorating cookies, painting and so on. I also have experience with children as young as 5 months. In high school I babysat for a family with two toddler girls and an infant boy. I also worked as a nanny after school for two years for a 4-year-old boy. I currently babysit for a family of three boys in Windsor ages six to 13 two days a week. My responsibilities include: picking them up from school, helping with homework, and picking up and/or dropping off for various activities. I take great pride in being a babysitter and it is something I enjoy doing!
