I am a nanny/babysitter with over 12 years of experience and great references to show that. I worked for a family from before the child was born (to help the mom with everyday errands and chores she could no longer do) until the child was 4. That was after I was a preschool teacher for 3 years and before I worked for HB School District for 7 years as a therapist for children with Autism. I have taken every class on early childhood development, child psychology, and special needs courses not just because I enjoy them, but also to become a certified preschool teacher and a therapist for the district. I am a college grad with a wealth of knowledge in child development and child psychology. I've been described as energetic, motivated and empathetic and one of my favorite parts about this job is teaching. Age appropriate social skills, academia, life skills and safety are put into play every time I work, in a fun way. Also, with all the energy kids have my goal upon leaving is to have expelled much of it by keeping active (age appropriate) whether it be playing sports or heading to the park, this is so important for many reasons. I honestly believe I would be a great addition to any family. I am organized, reliable, love setting up play dates, going to the park, and running errands. I am honest, flexible, and love to work.
