I already am a nanny. I love being a nanny. I love to take care of children. I find it one of the most rewarding things to do with my time. It is something I can be proud of at the end of the day when I go home, knowing that I can help to better their lives and give them a sense of comfort in their own home. To not only help them, but watch them develop over the period that I am with them is truly amazing. Most of all, I just love to be around kids. I'm the biggest kid at heart and am overjoyed to be able to share that with others. I come from a family of five where I am the middle child. I helped raise my two younger sisters (now ages 15 and 19) after my parents separated. I was a nanny for a family that lived down the road from my father's house from when I was ages 15-17. I took care of their 3-month-old baby girl to begin with and continued with them when their son was born the following year. I was a nanny for them in their home for two years. I then was a full-time nanny for a family with an 11 1/2-month-old boy in White Bear Lake, MN. I was with them from May, 2005 - February, 2006, when they moved out of state for career reasons. When I moved to Rochester, I worked full time for a family with a 22-month-old little girl and 3-year-old little boy from August, 2006 to May, 2007, until the mother stayed home after her third child. I have been with my current family since June, 2007, caring for a 5-year-old, 4-year-old and an 11-month-old. The mother will be staying home after November. I am looking for a new family starting in December, 2008!
