I started babysitting young. At the age of 14 I was babysitting a 4-month-old and a 2-year-old 3 times a week after school. I have been an on again off again babysitter. Most recently I worked for an organization called ALFA Development which specializes in care for adults with developmental disabilities. I was a direct care counselor and I helped them in their daily tasks based on their individual needs. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I am also certified to administer medication. Other trainings that come along with this job are abuse and neglect prevention training and crisis management training.
