I assisted other counselors as well as administrative staff in providing children from inner city St. Louis the opportunity to experience summer camp. My responsibilities of this position included supervising the activities of children 7 to 11 years, assisting in activities throughout the camp stay, providing mentor-ship to children from high-risk areas, providing follow-up to caregivers on each child's progress throughout the duration of the camp, and assisting in peer mediation.

Also I worked for three years as a Sunday school teacher and nursery attendant for children between the ages of 2 mos.- 12 years. I have taught Vacation Bible School classes in the past and responsibilities included creating activities, supervising children, helping with meal/nap time, etc. I have worked with children with behavioral, cognitive, and physical deficits. I have received CPR training in the past.
