My life has involved caring for my own children and ultimately my grandchildren, since I was 17 years old. Over the past 25 years, I have been a live-in nanny for the grandchildren of a TV newsreader and recently took care of an elderly lady living on Westlake Island, on weekends. In my last full-time position, I worked at a private preschool where I was assisting with up to 10 little ones, including twins, one of whom was autistic. The parents were very satisfied with the atmosphere and professionalism that we provided. Since August 2011, I have been nanny to one little boy who is almost 2 years held many positions and whose parents do not need me full-time during the summer months. I will not be seeking work certainly until the end of June 2013 when I will either be moving on from my current responsibilities, or moving on to a new position if something appropriate becomes available. Excellent references available. Apart from childcare, I am currently in the 2nd semester of my Masters Degree in Legal Studies.
