I believe that children are precious individuals, unique and wonderfully designed. Much of my life has been spent playing with, teaching and nurturing children. I've spent many hours being a nanny for families while in high school. In college, I taught gymnastics, worked in before- and after-school child care programs and worked with impoverished children in Mexico. I earned a BA in Child Development and then my teaching degree and began teaching elementary students. I taught for nearly 10 years before having my own amazing children. I have also had the wonderful opportunity to work with children with special needs.
