I am looking for a very part-time position, up to 12 hours a week. I'm the mom of a 2-year-old son and a 19-year-old son who we, very sadly and recently, lost.

I'm involved in a couple different mom's groups and relish staying engaged with other moms and kids. I routinely take my little one for walks, to the park, outside to explore, to indoor play areas, and library story time. I'm an active mama and enjoy hiking, training for 5Ks and triathlons, and participating in book club.

My experience with children/babysitting began when I was 11 and a neighbor noticed that I was good with her 3 younger kids. She hired me to come over and play with them while she did housework. This began my "babysitting career" which lasted through high school and beyond.
I've been a church day care provider and a preschool teacher assistant. I was my oldest son's Cub Scout den leader and involved with his Boy Scout pack.

Last school year, I very much enjoyed nannying a 12-year-old girl after school. It involved picking her up, being sure she finished homework and chores, spending quality/fun time with her, doing outside activities, taking her for occasional treats, and driving her 15-year-old brother to his after-school activities. I still occasionally take the girl on outings so that she and my son can stay in touch.
