I am the oldest child in my family of four children. All of my family (my parents, aunts, uncles) as well as friends have confided and referred me to others to provide exceptional care to their children. I have tended to children from the ages of three (3) months old to adolescents (15-16 years old). My average care time can range anywhere from two (2) hours to eight (8) hours a day as needed. I love to read, write, and try fun arts and crafts with the kids I care for. It's a great way to connect with them and share creativity. I consider myself a quintessential care provider because of my abilities to maintain my household. I love to cook and bake especially when I can get tiny hands safely involved. I am a meticulous cleaner and extremely conscientious of potential hazardous materials. I like to have fun and make play time interesting for everyone I care for, but I make sure to maintain control. I love to go to the park when the weather permits for physical activity. I am extremely competent in math, science, and writing. I have helped my younger brothers, my friends, and other children with their homework and special school projects. Homework should always come before play time. I also provide exceptional care for extremely young children including diaper changing, bathing, and feeding. I take this very seriously because it requires the utmost care and trust. I am a NYS certified Emergency Medical Technician and I am equipped and ready in the event of any medical emergency. I consider myself a very fun babysitter and easy going person. I tend to break the ice with younger children very quickly but I also understand the importance of having shyer ones warm up to me first. As a note to my schedule, I am available to work full time on alternate fridays. My next available Friday is February 3rd 2012.
