I am a 38 year old mother of 3. I started babysitting when I was 12 years old. I attended an early childhood education program with Wilson Tech. During our first year of the course we ran a preschool program. We created lesson plans that included crafts, puzzles, stories and many other activities. During our second year of training I went to different locations and became a teacher 's aide. These locations were an infant day care, a kindergarten class, 2nd grade class, special education 3rd grade class, and a day care for teen parents teaching them how to care for their child. I had learned many skills that I have put into practice in the subsequent year that have followed. I have been a nanny, an elder care giver, a professional babysitter. I had managed a babysitting service and then started my own service. I completed the EMT-1 course to become more familiar with medical concerns. I am a mother who is very proud of her children and the children whom I have helped care for.
