Hi my name is Jen, and I would like to tell you about myself. I have been working in the child care field for over 20 years. I started as a daycare teacher and worked with ages newborn - seventh grade. I became a nanny five years ago, as it was getting hard to watch the kids move up to the next class, and have the parents begging me to move up with them, so I decided to become a nanny. It has been so rewarding over the years watching kids learn on a daily basis, especially when you see them light up at something they have learned. If you're looking for a couch potato as a nanny, that is not me. I like to sit on the floor with the kids, play games, read stories, sing songs, and do arts and crafts. I love being able to get outside and play at a playground, kick a ball, and go for walks. Being able to get out and go places is also lots of fun. I am also an animal lover, so your pets will be well taken care of during the day, as well as your children. The only bad thing I can say about myself is I am always on the early side, no matter what time I leave, and do not mind traveling up to 30 miles away.
