Mary Poppins at your service! I am a super fun & creative nanny/teacher/household manager & personal assistant for hire. I am seeking a FT position with a kind, respectful, & loving family who will appreciate all the wonderful qualities I have to offer.
I am an educated and experienced child care professional with dual Bachelor's Degrees in Education & Fine Arts. I have 22 years of long-term experience working in private homes, caring for children of all ages, infant to teens. I also have 10 years of experience teaching photography to kids and adults through community enrichment programs.
My child care style is playful and patient. My personality is loving & down to earth. I have a great sense of humor, I am sweet in nature, and I have love for old fashioned values such as: handwritten letters and notes, making homemade gifts, spending time in nature, homemade meals, being kind and generous with others, etc., all of which I love bringing to a family and incorporating with the children I care for.
I can incorporate many lessons & teaching activities for your children & tutoring for older kids. I am great with babies & toddlers too. Helping them with all their milestones & cognitive development. I can take children to their sports & other activities, & I am experienced with supervising children at country clubs during the busy summer sports season, as well as supervising in home pools. I love planning fun & educational outings such as library time, nature centers, zoo, science center, play-dates, etc. Days will be filled with imagination, outside play, games, reading/learning, & lots of laughter!
I practice love & logic techniques to help parents raise responsible, independent, and empathetic children & young adults. Teaching children how to be compassionate, giving, & respectful is an important part of my child care philosophy and something I also model in my own life. Safety is number 1 and parents will feel at ease when away.
I am experienced in home management/assisting as well. I can help with most duties in this area including shopping, meal planning and cooking, laundry, errands, home organization, party planning, photography services, computer file organization, etc.
I am seeking a FT weekday position, also available for PT weekend work. Rates vary depending on position & the duties expected, $15- $25 per hour net. Any perks/benefits are of course welcome! I am available M-F 6:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. , 5 p.m. on Tuesdays.
