Growing up in Vermont and being cared for by my "Gram" in the summers, I was given a unique opportunity to be taken care of by a homesteader and an artist. My summers were spent swimming, hiking, gardening, preserving food for the winter, making incredible messes in the kitchen, and creating every possible craft project imaginable, all while being watched by someone who truly loved me. That is why now as a young adult, I want to share the childhood I had with the children who spend their days with me.

Over the past eight years I have cared for many different children, from newborns to 8-year-olds. Most of my experience has been taking care of infants and toddlers, helping them learn to walk, say new words and even grasp the all so traumatic experience of potty training. During my time caring for other people's children, including my own nieces, I have developed a passion for being a positive role model for children. Which has helped me choose the path of becoming an Early Childhood Educator. Due to my love of farming I created a self-designed degree of Sustainable Agriculture Education.

It is my hope that by being a part of a child's life they too will learn to love being outside, and getting their hands dirty while exploring their surroundings, creating beautiful artwork, and making yummy, healthy treats for the whole family.
