I love working with children and helping them learn and grow while still having fun doing so! I am a nurturer and have more patience when it comes to accommodating and meeting the needs of both the child and the parent(s). I have 10 years experience working with ages ranging from infancy to middle school. I previously worked as an after school and summer camp counselor for three years at a parks and recreation center. I have a background working and volunteering with special needs and other learning, emotional-behavioral disorders. In addition, some previous volunteer work I have done with children/adolescents: assisted coaching a co-ed middle school soccer team, volunteered as an art club teacher for a semester two days a week for ages (k-2) and (3-5), mentored a child for a year (5 years of age), and was an after school tutor at a title 1 elementary school in Athens, GA. I am also currently CPR/First-Aid certified.
