Jennifer was a part-time nanny and babysitter for our family for over a year. We are still in denial that she's marrying and moving out of town! Jennifer was integral to the smooth running of our household, picking up my toddler from school, ensuring he took a good nap, curbing his biting tendencies, playing outdoors in the yard or park, running him to appointments, and tucking him in on date night after several stories. She took the initiative to go to the local library and check out his favorite books :) We are dearly going to miss her calm manner and loving spirit. She is reliable which is key in a household with 2 working parents with varying hours. While we know she will be happy in her new city and marriage, there is a selfish part of us that will definitely miss her here. Best of luck!!

During the first 4 months of 2011 Jennifer worked part time for me while my husband had a temporary out of town assignment. Prior to and since that time she's been a favorite sitter. I work full time and was pregnant, so I needed not only an extra set of hands, but an extra brain. Jennifer was just the person. She helped keep my kids in their routine, regularly started dinner and helped tidy up the kitchen afterwards. She helped with driving my children (picking them up from school). She goes above and beyond. One night I got a call from her asking about what I was going to do when it snowed the next day. Snow? the next day? I didn't have a clue. She was willing to spend the night at my house and ended up staying for several days so I could work while the kids were out of school. Jennifer is loving and kind, very dependable and fun. She has a special gift with children and goes above and beyond to keep the whole family running smoothly.
