From a young age, I had the experience of living with several families in the same house, many of whom had young children. Whenever the parents were out of town or just out running errands, I was held responsible to watch over their kids. With this experience, I realized that caring for children was something that I greatly enjoyed. I've had several opportunities that involved child care that I have taken advantage of such as; assistant Sunday school teacher, group leader for youth workshops, assistant soccer coach for young kids, and simply just babysitting.
