I have been in the child care field for 12 years. My resume and references are available upon request. In the past, I have been a preschool assistant, while working on an early childhood degree. I then decided to become a professional nanny almost 10 years ago.

As a nanny, I prefer more one-on-one time with a child, rather than several children, as in a preschool setting. I am outgoing, and have many nanny friends. We like to get together for play dates. Also, I enjoy taking children to various activities: such as Gymboree, Kindermusic, museums, parks, and storytime.

I believe a child needs a schedule, structure, educational activities, and down time each day. I consider myself to be a very loving, sensitive, and compassionate person with lots of love to give. : )

Bonding with a child, cuddling, teaching them new things, and watching him/her achieve milestones is one of the many reasons I enjoy being a nanny. I would love to care for an infant, as I am looking for long term employment! I am currently looking for part time hours, primarily on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
