Throughout high school, I worked at a daycare/play center facility located within a family racket club. I developed relationships with many of the kids and their families who came to our play center from the time they were just a few months old until they were 4 or 5. I also nannied for a short amount of time after graduating college for a sweet 4-year-old little boy who I still sit for occasionally. Lastly, I gained a lot of child care experience recently when my best friend gave birth to a little boy of her own. I was there with her every step of the way from the time she was pregnant until the time she gave birth and started raising him with her husband away at bootcamp in the army. I've helped her with everything from entertaining her while she was on bed-rest, to cheering her on in the delivery room, to helping her and her family with feedings, changing him, and ultimately helping them out in any way that I could so she could sleep! Now that he's older, I have been a big part of his life and take care of him to help her out whenever I can.
